Q: What are ESKAPE pathogens?

Answer: The ESKAPE pathogens are six bad bugs on the loose!
Enterococcus faecium,
Staphylococcus aureus,
Klebsiella species,
Acinetobacter baumannii,
Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and
Enterobacter species

These are biggest infectious threats in view of their rising resistance and no new novel antibiotics coming in pipeline!
